What doesn't get emphasized enough is how masterfully these shoes are made. Clara has been making sandals for over 35 years. Her workshop walls are LINED with samples of her creations. 

Her designs are brave, bold, feminine, and lightweight. 

When people discuss shoe qualities, you hear a lot about arch support. What we rarely discuss, is the importance of the straps that go across the top of our foot. Laadi Designs straps are handwoven wool or cloth. These unique features make them feel like slippers. 

When we do use leather for our soles, or to line the wool straps, we use a very soft, organically tanned leather.
