There's nothing quite like these adorable and authentic seedpod animals to bring some whimsy into your home or garden! This fun Hoopoe was made using the seedpods of the Ulumbu Tree (Sterculia rogersii). Standing on hand twisted wire feet, it is between 3-4" tall and is hand painted in the rich bright colors of its traditional plumage. How cute!
Raina Mazwiembiri and her two daughters make these seedpod birds using pods that they collect and wire for the feet. The women hand paint each to create these unique birds from Zimbabwe, Africa.
