Found just beyond a large, unmarked wooden gate in Guanajuato, Mexico, the women artisans of the small family-owned Encantada Mexican Pottery hand-paint unfired ceramics while men work the kilns, just as they always have ever since the late 70’s. Each piece is given its own unique personality - from lively dots and swirls to the hand-painted logo on the bottom.
Encantada Mexican Pottery is a member of Global Crafts, a Fair Trade organization with the mission to offer income-generating opportunities to artisan groups in developing countries by bringing beautiful products to mainstream markets.
